Belated Christmas!

Typical Lano to leave everything till the last 4 weeks of university. I had 12 weeks to prepare, revise, write and produce... Yet... The notion of doing things in advance eludes me, except Advanced Deployment and Movement, I never forget that shit!

Anyway, I did manage a few games in the meantime while helping running the Essex Legion gaming club, and of most notable mention is Warhammer Fantasy. And we all know what means, Dino-Fucking-Sawwwwwws!!!

Anyway, my first game back was a harrowing experience, as I let a Mangler Squig tear through my army... Saurus' aren't that hard in the face of Fanatics and Mangler Squigs!

From my Lustrian Javelins failing to kill... To...

Yes, that unit of Saurus Warriors WERE 20man strong, not anymore! Going to have to wipe that smug grin off his face at some point...

Anyway, with Riot from RiotvilleonFire boasting of his fully painted 2000pts, I thought it would be a good time to get my paint on again!

Firstly, I managed to get a block unit of 20 Saurus Warriors with Spears done... This was my next progression from the Tale of Four Gamers we all started last year, and it was about time these guys got some love.

Secondly, as of last night I managed to paint one of my BIG dinoSAWWWWS. Having given my mate Neil his first ever Warhammer Fantasy game, I decided it was a good idea to start painting a Bastilidon at 2am. As Neil heads to bed, I lose track of time and power through the painting! Leaving me delirious at 9am with this following result.

The guy stills needs to be based, but that can be done at a later point. I'm well chuffed at the result and will have to find a way to get this guy into a game.

What I love about painting Lizardmen, is the colourful variety I can have in an army, helps negate the mundane drone of painting one colour again and again!

I do have some more miniatures on the paint line... Mainly a converted Slann Mage Priest, but you'll have to wait till the finished product arrives to see that!

As I am a little late, I'd like to wish you guys a Merry Christmas, and New Year!
Let the paint flow in 2016!
